AHAS Foster

AHAS Foster is a new program aimed at supporting youth aging out of the foster care system in SW Washington. We plan to offer an ongoing series of free workshops for youth interested in developing educational and professional development plans. We will soon add a schedule of workshops to this page.

Planed Workshops for 2010

1. Writing a successful Personal Statement (for college or job applications)

2. How to request supportive letters of recommendation

3. Create your own Podcast (music, poems, short stories)

4. Organizing your important documents with E-Portfolio(SSN, transcripts, birth certificate, etc.)
